Ian’s production work has earned him global recognition, winning awards and nominations, and achieving gold and platinum certifications, with features in Rolling Stone and Billboard Magazine. Notably, he also beta-tested iTunes Producer and the iTunes Music Store for Steve Jobs and Apple, becoming the first indie label on iTunes.

In 2024, Ian launched the “Screwtape Letters Podcast – Confronting Evil in Our Time” which shot to success as a Christian podcast averaging over 5000 downloads per week

His latest works pour into his love for Christian music and his debut release “Living in God’s light” is released on September 16th, 2024. The song serves as a reminder of the goodness of God. One day, stepping out of the shower the line “I’ve been living in God’s light” with the melody was given to me. It was so present and I was filled with so much gratitude and had to write a song around it. The song is an ode to the Christmas carols, songs, and hymns that bring so much happiness and joy to people during the Christmas Season and create such great memories. Too many popular Christmas songs leave out that Jesus is the reason for the season and the gift is Jesus, the savior of the world. All the trappings of shopping for gifts, Santa Claus, Father Christmas, and gift-giving are all metaphors for God giving the world his son to fulfill the scriptures.

My prayer is that through this song people will embrace the true holy spirit of Christmas, start their journey to read the bible with the Christmas story in Luke or Matthew, and give their life to Christ to find true joy that will last throughout the year. “Hallelujah, Jesus Christ!”

“Living in God’s Light” is the first song from his upcoming album to be released in mid 2025.
